Lately, my pottery practice has lead me on an investigation of form and surface. Creating forms with my intuitive sense of aesthetics and combining surface techniques to complement and enhance the form, I have been trying to gain a sense of my own personal style. I am also very interested how glazing can activate the surface area of an object and I experiment with new glaze combinations all the time. I consciously give myself creative freedom in the studio to discover new approaches and techniques to help me develop my style as a potter.
